Hoping Jared Spurgeon is ok. he hit his head into the goal post.
Well, they’re up 3-2 now with a pretty dominant 2nd.Staring to lose faith in this team. Could see a 5 game and out against Dallas or Colorado. Vancouvers stinks and played last night. Wild are “good” and have had 5 days off. Wild trial 2-1.
Hopefully, you didn’t make yourself suffer through the rest of that 5-2 winStaring to lose faith in this team. Could see a 5 game and out against Dallas or Colorado. Vancouvers stinks and played last night. Wild are “good” and have had 5 days off. Wild trial 2-1.
Slow start after 1 then it was all WildStaring to lose faith in this team. Could see a 5 game and out against Dallas or Colorado. Vancouvers stinks and played last night. Wild are “good” and have had 5 days off. Wild trial 2-1.
I’m not even sure it was a slow start…Slow start after 1 then it was all Wild

Shots were pretty even after 1. After that not so muchI’m not even sure it was a slow start…
They dominated the majority of the 1st, it was 45 seconds at 4 on 4 and the PK that led to them being down 2-1.
While that might be true, the Wild seemed to be in control of the play leading up to the Vancouver goals.Shots were pretty even after 1. After that not so much
They either need to make regulation wins 3 or get rid of the loser point in ot or be fine with ties. Teams making playoffs and being one seeds off shootouts is ridiculousJust looking at the standings, some of the records, see how things might shake out to close the season on some of these races.
Kind of a crazy stat; Anaheim leads the Pacific Division, despite having a (-8) goal differential, and they have a whopping 8-0 record in Shootouts. Hard to imagine them doing a lot in the postseason with those metrics?
It looks like there will most definitely be a wildcard team in the Western Conf playoffs with at LEAST a (-25) goal differential. Holy wowzers...
followed immediately by a massive Detroit comeback only to see Kane go full braindead and cost them the game. luckily for detroit still a game in hand on the Isles (the Flyers should pass them at 1 point back with 2 in hand) and they've still got games with Philly and Columbus, but goodness some teams just cannot figure out how to scrap for pointsBiz Nasty dropping some not so flattering comments on the Red Wings in the middle of this afternoon's game... Ouch!
This could be the third year in a row where Detroit was fairly comfortable in the playoffs only to choke it down the stretch. I have always liked Detroit going way back to Gordie Howe daysfollowed immediately by a massive Detroit comeback only to see Kane go full braindead and cost them the game. luckily for detroit still a game in hand on the Isles (the Flyers should pass them at 1 point back with 2 in hand) and they've still got games with Philly and Columbus, but goodness some teams just cannot figure out how to scrap for points
The Yzerman situation if they miss the playoffs is going to be an interesting one given what he means to the organization but have continued to miss the playoffs under his direction
Trap game? Let’s hope not. Seattle has lost 5 straight and got pummeled 6-2 by the Jets last night. Pounce on them early and often
8 giveaways by the Wild that period. Good reason they are down 2-1Hoping the Wild take care of business and pretty much end the postseason hopes of the Kraken. Seattle ain't making the playoffs but if they had a glimmer of hope, getting thumped by the Wild would end their season resoundingly.
1st playoffs matchup is set. It will be the Wild vs the Stars.
True but the playoffs are whole different animal. They have the best power play in the league at home. Wild obviously need to keep their penalties to a minimumDallas is a very winnable series for the Wild. Stars are a dismal 3-5-2 in their last 10 games and struggled to beat a bad Calgary team in OT tonight. Dallas is not playing great hockey right now
