It's really obvious, Max is the current backup to JJ. You seem to think that is still in question?

Having Skule be your LT is not what you want for Max's first start. Better pray the gameplan is to hand the ball off and do a bunch of quick passes.


I haven’t watched every Viking game this year but are JJs woes primarily:

1) quick pressure ie blocking issues
2) slow developing play design
3) slow processing at QB position
4) innate poor accuracy
5) careless throws
6) opponent greatness
7) due to being 22 yrs old
8) injury-related
9) related to metrodome construction on Indian burial grounds
