***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT OREGON PRIME TIME UNDER THE FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I'm starting to wonder if it is more play design or the QB. There were some pretty obvious open guys missed for much more yardage. In some cases they were they next layer beyond the guy he is throwing to so Drake is looking right at them but choosing the two yard check down. Drake has shown he can make most of the throws. The online sucks but there are other ways to try and help the QB beyond tunnel screens and two yard routes. Yes, check downs are better than lost yards or no yards but that cannot be your offensive identity.

I think the tunnel screens etc. were being run to offset the hard crashing DEs, especially on the right side. #73 has zero chance in handling that pass rush from the outside.

Iowa isn't dropping it.
Like I mentioned in my other response, the best I can do now is a tweet by the local ESPN Radio guy in Iowa City who was saying that Iowa's head coach was going to be great for someone else as the writing was on the wall to be "downsized". That was in March this year.

No idea ...

Iowa did drop swimming, after renovating or building their aquatic center no less.

Three Road games with ranked teams
Ohio State ..42-3
Iowa...41-3
Oregon. 42-13

I'm not going to say that Flex not a good coach but there's a point when you hit a plateau and I think the best we have was was 2019 and 11-2. Since then it is been this type of situation. I don't think he can get any better or get this program to the next level he's been here over 8 years and this is not the type of thing that if you're running a really top-notch program did you get absolutely annihilated on the road by ranked teams like this they're not even remotely competitive
.
I don’t think you are wrong but 11-2 would get you into playoffs and that 2019 team could play with about anybody at the end of the year. I’d take that.

The best money can buy.

We still have a good shot at 8 wins before the bowl game. Not a historic season or the type we were hoping for, but still a good season if it pans out
Sure hope so but the Cats gave MI all they could handle yesterday and we know about our road struggles, even vs. another mediocrity like California. Plus, the Badgers have a lot of fight left and I can see us scoring under 20 and giving them some short fields. My familial Scandinavian pessimism is active today!

After watching the Gopher game and the Iowa-USC game, it is obvious that the B1G Officials from the West coast are going to make decisions favoring the WEST coast teams. Big mistake inviting those teams into the conference.

It’s getting pretty ugly in the world of so much gambling going on. It almost feels like people are getting their lives threatened over these calls. Watched multiple calls yesterday where a flag is thrown and then picked up.

One league even proudly wears their conference name on their hats.

It’s only going to get worse

Yep, while always an issue now with the spread of legalized sports betting in more and more states the opportunity for compromised calls secondary to personal vices or outside coercion has gone into the stratosphere.
