How are you not factoring in the other points (pick 6) which accounts for the margin of the defeat?

Right here. Slow it down and you can clearly see his left arm and hand are not under the ball at which point the ball moves.

It looks like his hand/arm is still underneath the ball. You cannot definitively see the ball on the ground at that time.

At this point, in what appears to be yet another mediocre season in the making, if playing Wentz gets us closer to being able to draft S Caleb Downs (OSU) or CB Mansoor Delane (LSU), I'm all for it.

FWIW , this was reported last Friday that there was a good possibility they weren’t planning on starting him until The Lions game

I suppose anything is possible but I disagree. He would at least get rid of the ball and has more mobility than Wentz at this point. If Wentz completes 2 or 3 really basic NFL throws on Sunday, we win the game.

Further, if this is a lost season, I'd rather see of Max can be QB2 going forward. Any more playing time to the washed up fossil is a waste.

This. I don't know how anyone could think that Wentz would start on Sunday and then, barring injury, McCarthy would start Thursday night.

The Chargers defense has not been great. If there's no Joe Alt for the Chargers, the Vikings should be able to win this game. It's very possible that 3 of the Chargers top four OT's could be injured for this game. Pass rush from Flores should feast
