Gonna have to pay Lindsey… Carried the team and clearly has “it”. Spread it around all day.
Run game…hmm but improved a little as the game went on. Enjoy rooting for IJEBOI
Run defense tackling was less than great, or that RB is just good.
On the other hand they contained the Rutgers top receiver
Kerry brown had a hell of a game
Defensive line came through just enough, and the D had 6 7 sacks
WR Smith had a great game. Great size and speed and made the catches today.
After a strong first quarter plus Athan folded up again and the errant snap was perfect at the end.

At least the Gophers finally realized after a year and a half that they are no longer a running team and in fact are pretty bad at it.

But they can sling it.

Here's to more 330 yard passing, 38 yard rushing games with over 2x more pass plays than runs
 


  • So fun to have an NFL draft pick caliber QB. Good on the coaching staff adjusting at half time and going quick tempo. Let's see this the rest of the year.
  • We miss Darius. NO question. He is going to make Lindsey that much better when he comes back.
  • I still cannot get over how bad at clock management Fleck is. I like him as a coach overall but his gameday decision making is absurd. I honestly have no idea WTF they were doing before half time. Absolutely kept Rutgers in the game and almost cost the Dub at the end.
  • Players of the game: Obviously Drake on O and Kerry Brown on D. HM to Tracy, Brock, Anthony Smith and Menz.
  • Solid game by the O line on pass protection.
  • Glad to see Koi focusing on D. Let's keep it this way.

Been said before, but Drake is not hurting for money. Family has seemed to say they value the relationship

1) I think a little of both. I don't know if their RB is that good but I think he's good

2) They did. Seems like we had the advantages of double coverage a number of times in the second half
