I’m as laidback as ice cream in almost every walk of life, but yes, I am a bit of a scold on this board. I was pretty close to shutting the door on visiting GopherHole regularly before this board appeared and allowed a breath of escapism from the creeping politicization of all things seemingly everywhere. There’s a cesspool next door for those who love to bask in that world-I don’t see any need or excuse to bring it here.

Also I did a cursory look through the other board and see in a thread you started a heartwarming story about an 11 year old girl gunning down two illegal immigrants. Turns out it’s a fallacy: https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/fact-check-story-11-old-100000518.html

But hey, let’s lighten up, right? What’s the harm in spreading falsehoods and misinformation on the regular? It’s all entertainment evidently.
 

Weird column from Souhan today saying basically, "Don't fire the hitting coach". That's way, way down the list of things people are frustrated about. People are fed up with ownership that won't spend money, an executive that has failed pretty badly when he's been given the green light to spend any significant money and a manager who lacks the fortitude to challenge and push his team to be better. Nobody thinks that Toronto is having a real nice year because David Popkins ended up there.

Wow. You can really be a jerk can't you? Your problem isn't with people getting information wrong.
Your problem is when someone goes against your leftist worldview. If you were interested in truth at all (you aren't) then you would have been all over a host of lefties who have been spreading lies on the OT for years. You pick out a decent guy like TRF who gets it right most of the time and has fun with it.
