Should I be? I'm told that this is as good as its been in 50 years by folks like you and that this is as good as it gets and shouldn't expect more, to which I unfortunately agree.

I'll ask again: Are you unhappy with the current state of "our" program? It's a simple question.

It really does come down to QB and the O-Line for me. We are so often in this position of "we could be much better than expected, or much worse."

I'm not going to lie to you, I think it's more likely that we are worse. I say that because of the AK fiasco and the hype that surrounded him.

I really wish this media market had more coverage beyond just Gopher Gridiron because we could really benefit on better insider coverage.

I'm not as worried about the OL as the QB. I bought into AK hook, line and sinker, and it burned me. I believe we a have roster this year to have a 9/10 win season, again I will probably predict the same next year. If we keep expanding the play calling like we did this past year it should be a fun year of Gopher Football

Naw.... He's already funding Stanford a bit. Sort of like to keep him happy at Oregon. He's done a great job of helping the U of O.

Having a QB that you trust enough to throw the ball down the field makes expanding the playbook a lot easier. Then you need a quality OL to give him the time to make those throws.

I'm worried about both if we're being honest but I have a renewed faith in our program thanks to PJ.

I thought the O line turned over a few starters. I definitely am not extremely roster saavy - I listen to the podcast and follow posts, but I retain very little.

Correlation doesn't equal causation, for sure. But - I am one of those folks saying they are worried because of AK. This is due to cumulative trauma at the Gopher QB position over the years. AK was supposed to be "the guy," so much so that we hampered our own recruiting to hang on to him. There hasn't been the same buzz surrounding Drake thus far, but I'm still very skeptical of a young arm under PJ. We've turned over offensive coordinators so frequently, and have really only tasted success with experienced QB's with PJ.

Don't let me ruin your confidence! Just trying to explain my thought process.
