It was a slog to be sure. But all that matters at this point is that we are in position to go win the game in the second half. It’s atrocious basketball

You messaged me Einstein; I’m not crushing, you areLeave your personal life out of it, stalker
You’re A big name at the U.Why not play Garcia with 2? No chance to win with him not in
He’s a 44% free throw shooter. Not the ideal candidate for an elbow jumper.Does Payne only dunk? He is wide open from the elbow
It’s atrocious basketball
Yeah....both teams shot poorly.....Garcia being on the bench probably played a huge part in that.Minn outscored 13-3 since 10:16 minute mark

What you don’t have Bens cell?

With the way the first half went you should probably close your eyes when both teams are on offenseI can’t believe this Gopher squad is outrebounding a team with Hunter Dickinson. The active hands and rebounding has been good to see today. You just have to close your eyes when the Gophers are on offense.
He is going to need to develop a mid range shot if he doesn't have one because teams are daring him to shoot.Maybe he's better at jump shooting? Hopefully something he can develop.
Weak sauce as usual Tessie. Are you having a stroke? Problem with your weiner(s)?
I'd rather have rolled the dice and been up 8 but reasonably people disagree on that decision. He sat, didn't pick up anymore fouls and we are tied at halftime. Seems to me like sitting him was the right choice as now he can go the full second half and doesn't have to play passive due to fouls.
Probably because they were winning... Who's to say he doesn't pick up the third foul immediately if he goes in.Their odds of winning are substantially lower now than they were when he went out.
Can see it both ways. Given we had a lead I think it made sense to sit in my opinion.I'd rather have rolled the dice and been up 8 but reasonably people disagree on that decision.
There's that but almost as big of a concern is that Garcia has to play so timid that he can't really defend even if he is in.Probably because they were winning... Who's to say he doesn't pick up the third foul immediately if he goes in.

Glad you decided to show up. I call it strategy though.that's a loser mentality

Their chance to win was to maintain/build on the lead. Letting Michigan come back and tie ended any chance to win.He sat, didn't pick up anymore fouls and we are tied at halftime. Seems to me like sitting him was the right choice as now he can go the full second half and doesn't have to play passive due to fouls.
It failed miserablyGlad you decided to show up. I call it strategy though.
This. Put PP in and let him guard him.Why is Garcia guarding Dickinson 1 v 1?
Games not over chiefIt failed miserably
If he does, you take him out then. I'd rather lose in the last 5 minutes because he fouled out that lose in the first half because we sat him for 10 minutes.Probably because they were winning... Who's to say he doesn't pick up the third foul immediately if he goes in.
Garcia is our main offense, in foul trouble, and has a hard enough time when he’s not in foul trouble. I don’t get it.This. Put PP in and let him guard him.
I would put Thompson and PP in the game and on Dickinson until they both fouled out.This. Put PP in and let him guard him.
They didn't lose the first halfIf he does, you take him out then. I'd rather lose in the last 5 minutes because he fouled out that lose in the first half because we sat him for 10 minutes.
