I think he would be a top 3 candidate at Michigan this time. He is all about college at this point and it's likely a dream job.

You're right, this would be one of the jobs that I think PJ would take. I'd hate it for the Gophers but it would be great TV.

The Michigan job is tough. Harbaugh has made it kind of like the Ohio State job where a game or two against a top 5 team can put you on the hot seat. It just feels like a weird pairing too.

PJ to Michigan? That would be a loss for Minnesota.

Maybe then Lovie Smith could be persuaded to take the job in MN.

He would take it ... but I don't think you guys realize how low on their radar he is.

Looks like Bobby Petrino is headed to Texas A&M as OC before even getting to UNLV.

Please, dear God, tell us you're joking....

Sounds like his stock value is down.

Well someone experienced would be happy to step into to PJ Fleck's $6 million a year contract. No rebuild coach needed or wanted at this point.

PJ is not going anywhere.

Lovie's stock is most certainly down, rightfully so. One of the worst HC's one could imagine really. I was disappointed when he finally left Illinois, was hoping he would stay there for quite a while.
I never even heard of Lovie before he became the Bears head coach.

Well I guess he's not a caretaker coach afterall. I just read that bringing him in last minute to the Houston Texans was an opportunity to bottom out for draft picks. LOL.

Lovie was considered a pretty solid defensive coach, serving as LB coach for Dungy in Tampa Bay and then as defensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams under Martz. Was a rising star then, but hasn't had much success as a head coach either at the college or pro levels.

My guess is Lane Kiffin for next Michigan coach. Based on zero facts just my guess. Worth just as much as everyone elses guess *shrug*

Regarding the Michigan situation, Harbaugh signed an extension for $7,340,000 per year at Michigan. He reported had asked for $10 million a year with an NFL team last season. Now there are wild rumors about the Broncos paying much more.
