All Things 2021 NCAA College Basketball March Madness Tournament Thread

you're up 3 and the other team is in the bonus and you don't foul them once they get past half-court and they get a decent look and desperation heave from 3.

I don't understand the logic behind that.
There was too much time left. Plus Florida had a big size advantage.

ORU is legit. I remember watching them totally destroy NDSU and thinking, whoa.
Actually, NDSU had the ball down 1 with 10 seconds to play. A controversial No call gave ORU the win.

No kidding. Did I imagine them leading big? Maybe my mind is going.

Boynton should be available by the end of the night...

We may have been a Rutgers choke job from Loyola, Oregon State, Rutgers and Oral Roberts being left in that region...

Loyola Chicago's backup big, Jacob Hutson, was an unranked 6'10" center out of Edina. Never heard of him. Not saying we missed on him or anything...fun to see Minnesotan's out there.
I saw him play in high school a few times. When he was a junior they played against Eden Prairie in the section semi's at Prior Lake and were just smoked. Edina had a good senior guard that year too....I can't remember his name....and Eden Prairie played almost all juniors. Drake Dobbs, the guard who plays for Liberty was sensational in both the section semifinals and finals that year. In the section final EP beat a very good Prior Lake team that had Garcia, Robert Jones who starts for Denver and several good guards and wings. That section final was one of the best sporting events I've ever attended. There were lots of high school basketball coaches at that game watching.

That was a great game. Was pulling for NDSU but I loved the no call.

God, I wish there was a College Hoops 2K1. I'd go nuts for a week straight if they made that. This stuff is electric!

I think I saw they are bringing back NCAA football. Any word on college hoops?

Yea Football is coming back in some form but no word on Basketball yet. I'm sure they are working on it though if they can get football back. I love the coach legacy mode, I start out as a scrub nobody coach, build up a small program and hope to get the Gophers job and turn them into a powerhouse. So fun.

Hell, I don't even play the game usually, I just like to build the program, watch big games, recruit, etc.

Sure it has been mentioned in this thread already but amazing to think the Big Ten could be out of the tournament by the end of the day tomorrow.

Michigan and Iowa will probably have their hands full with LSU and Oregon. And Maryland is a 10 going against a 2.

What a finish here on this game! Oklahoma State just keeps coming

I would be surprised to see college hoops return. I don't think it was anywhere near as popular as NCAA Football....which would explain why it was discontinued several years before NCAA Football. But I'd certainly buy it if it made a comeback.

Somewhere I have one of the last ones that was made. 2008 or so. It had Lawrence McKenzie and he was good.

Oregon State is better than I thought. I don't know how they lost so many games early.
