***OFFICIAL wisconsin AT MINNESOTA BT WEST TITLE, AXE GAME IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Correct.
All the momentum and confidence went right out the door with that waving of the white effing flag.

Punt from your opponents 35 in fourth and two? Absolutely idiotic.
This happened a long time ago. Good over it.

OL is playing terrible. Not going for it on 4th and 2 at the 35 was a big mistake. Points are going to be hard to come by.
It was dumb. Not hindsight, foresight.
Horrendous decision regardless of game and weather, much less biggest game ever.

I think you made your point about 5 or 6 times ago

Big screw up to punt on 4th and 2 on the 35. We had the wind. Neither team has done anything going into the wind. We didn't press our advantage.

Yeah...and ever since it happened, the Gophers offense hasn't done a thing. In fact, the defense has spent way too much time out on the field. Gonna be a long day if the offense doesn't do some damage right away in the second half.

The boys better decide how bad they want this...playmakers need to take over.

Keep playing like that and it's gonna be a typical 21st century badger ass kicking over the Gophers.

I'm seeing a one dimension team...I'm really concerned. Our O line can't give TM time to throw. There had been at least 4-5 ALMOST interceptions! We're lucky with only one turnover in the first half. We're very fortunate to be only down 3 points. I'm really concerned for the 2nd half! That clock couldn't run out fast enough.

Dude the decision not to punt isn't gonna be the difference... Get over it. The difference is picking up inside pressure from Wisconsin so Tanner can step into his throws. Wisconsin getting nosey with 7 and 8 guys in the box and press coverage outside. Pick up the pressure and let your WRs win battles on the outside. Minnesota getting dominated since the 3rd drive. Time to go back to the drawing board. Let's go. SUM, RTB, GG.

The wind matters in this game. We need to score a lot with the wind in the 2nd half. We get the ball, so I assume they'll get the wind again in the 4th quarter. Need to get back up in this game...

Defense - Good enough
Special Teams - Not bad at all!
Offense - Has to be better. Expect to be better. Will be much better.

Looks like we are really missing Big Dan. When was the last time Tanner had to continually throw while falling backwards? Huge pressure is really the difference right now. What is the solution?

I wasn't a fan of punting on 4th and 2, but I don't think it mattered too much.

We will need a big play or two to win this.
It appears we aren't winning the trenches today on either side.

We need faster quicker slants behind the blitzing linebackers. Shorter routes should work.

I haven't heard a word on Falalele. What's his status?

The deep passes are open, Wisconsin is selling out and giving us chances deep against the wind. Smart by them, but also risky. The scoreboard right now honestly comes down to one difference: Taylor of all people caught a very difficult catch for a TD. Autman-Bell didn’t pull down his equivalent. It’s that close.

We won last year primarily because we ran it down their throat. Very different outcome today. Doesn’t even seem to be a commitment to the run at all, which is really puzzling in these conditions.

Faalele was carted to the locker room.
I would expect he won't be back.

All the deep throws into three wind are getting hung up. Need to be able to run the ball or pass out of misdirection like the Badgers have done. If you can't forge ahead, at least keep it close going into the 4th quarter.

And what happened right before that? Daniel F went down. OLine has played poorly since. I still don’t know what happened to him...

Wisconsin is bringing down the safety every time.

They're betting they can get to Morgan before we can throw it deep.

So far, it's working.

screen behind the rush. Take advantage of their over-aggressiveness
