Streveler Transferring

Bummer, with his speed I really wanted him to pick it up at WR or return guy, but best of luck.

Leaving with his degree. Great kid.

Heckuva good kid, wish him nothing but the best.

Wonder if he goes and plays for Lovie Smith.

Too bad. Gophers are not deep enough to lose talented athletes.

He was brilliant in the San Jose game he started. Ran the read-option better than anyone with the Rodents in a while. I was really hoping he would get more snaps under center.

Best of luck, Chris!!

Based on recent pictures of him from twitter I assume he will be working on a degree in fashion. I wish him the best.

Blues Streveler giving us the run around

Good luck to him. Hope he does well wherever he goes.

Thing is Chris could make great throws, be super confident as far as I could tell, and aggressive. Awesome.

The downside was when he missed he was way off and would hit the guy in the numbers, the other guy...

Talented??? You and I have differing views on talent I guess. I'd say anyone who has bought season tickets in the past year has contributed more to the success of the Gopher program than Streveler ever did.

Another in the long line is failed JK QBs. For all the good that Kill did, his QB recruiting was on par with Mason's defensive recruiting.

You do realize even kids on the practice teams play vital roles in the success of the team on Saturday right? Did I just blow your mind?

Losing guys like Streveler , hurts the program. It hurts leadership, practices, special teams, etc. etc.

He put in his time and his work here and he's gonna graduate too. He just couldn't do enough to get on the field near as much as he wanted. Wish him well wherever he goes.

Best wishes Chris.
He was always a guy I was hoping to see make an impact somewhere on the field.

He's a great kid. Loved watching him goof off on the sidelines. Just no true spot for him on this team. Happy to hear he's moving on to another team where he can get some PT.

Streveler is a great kid, but he is not able to help this team get to the next level and you can bet TC had no problem seeing him go so they can make room for bigger, stronger and faster players. Streveler is the kind of kid Minnesotans have had for years of 3 win seasons. I wish him all the luck in the world and he will have a great life.

Love this guy. Really sad to lose him. Nothing but the best.

You're so edgy and controversial.

He seemed like a good guy and a good teammate. I wish him well.

I'd think a team like Georgia Tech, or a FCS team that is equivalent, would be a good fit for Mr. Streveler. Put him in the triple option and let him run.

He would make a great running back. I hope someone sees that when recruiting him, assuming he might be open to that.
