Meh, white pants not a good look.

And I agree, the pants need a thick stripe. Hate the legging gone bad look.

Need to wear all maroon or yellow socks as well, pro style. That would complete it.

Would rather have seen the all gold uniforms from head/toe, which is the lesser of two evils.

I am in the minority here, but I would like to see consistently mono chrome. All white on the road with white helmets. All maroon and occasionally all gold at home. Tone the Gold down a bit though. This is the only solution.

I'm with you on monochrome. What is the most powerful and intimidating thing a man wears? I believe it's a suit, with identical pants and coat. It exudes confidence, power, intelligence and coolness. But a sport coat and pants conveys a more relaxed, easy going, friendly and approachable feeling. To me, the Gophers don't look intimidating when they wear maroon over gold. They look kinda friendly. But put them in a monochromatic uniform from helmet on down, in maroon, gold or white, and they look serious and like a team that's going to be tough. Moreover, dark colors make people look smaller. I vote for all white or all gold the rest of the year. If they do this and it fails, I'll go hide somewhere in the corner and tell myself how stupid this was.
