Branding. The last thing gopher athletics wants is Wisconsin scheduling neutral site games on our home turf.

I suspect the public rationale is it's a neutral site that's geographically a halfway point with adequate accommodations for the nights before and of the game. But both schools would use it to their recruiting advantage and there's no upside for us.

I hope we NEVER play at US Bank Stadium unless there is a B1G Championship being played and they provide a shuttle to the game from my tailgate lot in St. Paul.

Or the National Championship Game.
