That might have been the dumbest sequence of basketball by a player I have ever seen, to even attempt that layup, not to mention the foul......

I don't know how you miss the layup and the foul was idiotic. But I don't have a problem with the layup attempt.

Either way Denver would only be up by 3 at the most and the Wolves would get the ball back with a good amount of time to score. And Westbrook is not a very good FT shooter.

after reflecting over night, I tend to agree with your second point. if I am Westbrook I have went 1 for 2 twice in the overtimes. I like my chances of a layup over foul shots and maybe 3 more seconds burned.
