Would he take a shot during a passing drill?
He was 4-7 today with 12 points and 3 assists. Not sure where the hate is coming from. Like it or not, he's going to have to be a key player for us next year. I believe with some changes of habit in the offseason, he can be a very good weapon.
Oh, come on. It isn't hate - its reality.
Even DD commented tonight that Morris wasn't passing the ball twice in the same possession.
The most frustrating player I think I've ever seen in a Gophers uniform (I'm 41). If he slowed it down 1/2 the times I've yelled at him to "SLOW IT DOWN", we'd have 4 more wins. FACT!

If you base anything on what dd says during a telecast, check yourself.
Chin up!

Agreed. Despite all of the boneheaded things he did tonight, I still felt better when he was on the floor.

I don't think he would pass it it a 3 man weave drill.
Morris is a selfish player.....Period!
What are his assists in the last 10 games..
That's because his game is a tease. You can see that he has some talent and he's a "volume shooter," so some shots do fall, but he hurts the team consistently on both ends.
Ohio State game Morris' shooting: 7 + .5 x 2 = 8 shots; 12 points/8 shots = 1.5 points per shot The team's shooting other than Morris: 53 + .5 x 12 = 59; 61/59 = 1.03 points per shot Conclusion: Morris shooting was far more efficient than the rest of the team against OSU. That's not the only game where that has been the case this year. His 54% true shooting percentage for the season was very respectable. His 6 turnovers were another matter. I like Morris (although I liked Austin much better). He has athleticism, talent, and fight. Perhaps the coach can work on the mental kinks but he brings things to this team that a lot of recent recruits haven't.
