Wisconsin - A program that is waning

Wisconsin played 32 conference games in the last 3 years? Good old Wisconsin Edumacation for reading comprehension skills.

buying a Wisconsin team that is 16-0 in non-conference games under Beliema and 13-11 in the Big Ten.

Since when does a team play 16 non-conference games in 3 years?

I understand the confusion reigning in Gopher Land. The rubes are self-identifying. Timmy's Snake Oil Wagon is leaving town and with it go the fortunes of those who bought Gopher stock and sold Badger stock in October 2009.

Uh, what? You'd think that Minnesota edumacation might notice some odd math at work when Bielema has 4 victories (soon 5) against the Gophers alone.

His real record (not the imagined one) is 42-14 overall, this includes a 20-12 record in conference and 2-2 in Florida Bowl Games. (Yes, they play bowl games in Florida, too!)

I was thinking he started the same year as Brewster. I forgot Alvarez handed him the 2006 season.

Tristan is completely correct... not really understanding the counter-argument here...

You know, I think Gopher fans, that now is a chance to finally be realistic and be decent fans like the rest of the country. Admit that you were/are some of the worst/immature in the country and move on from that reputation. We try to have knowledgeable conversations with you and for years it's like talking to a brick wall of: "GO AWAY BECKY!!! WE'RE FINE OVER HERE BY OURSELVES! WE DON'T TAKE VISITING FANS. KEEP THEM AWAY!"

Why not drop the guard once and for all and join the rest of the college football community? It's an opportunity to start from scratch and re-build a positive reputation for you fan base instead of the fickle, stand-offish, defensive that you've become famous for over the decades. At this point for you, change is GOOD, right?

So let me see if I have this right. You come over to a Gopher website posting little more than snarky, inflammatory comments and then complain that Gopher fans are unwilling to engage in "knowledgeable conversation" with other fan bases? Pot meet kettle.

The funny part about your complaint is that most posters on here are more than willing to engage in some good football talk with members of other fan bases. The problems arise when toolboxes such as yourselves feel the need to come over and fan the flames.
