IMO seems like "hateful, threatening" posts are normally the trigger. "Obscene, vulgar and sexually oriented" are in the eye of the beholder. I linked the forum rules below.

You're also not allowed to like Tubby Smith or call him a good coach. If you do so you get put on notice.

How long is the normal ban if you get booted from the gopher hole?

I am not completely on board here, but you are correct, we tend to overlook things like "qualifications" when it is about one of our own. Trent, to my knowledge, has never coached before and to throw him into a high major assistant role with no experience is setting both him and the program up for failure. I'm sure Little Ricky will be able to come up with a capable staff without my input, but I would suggest he nab someone that brings a little local flavor to the mix. The name Nuness keeps coming up.

I have said it before, and I will say it again...Norwood Teague has no personal ties to the University of Minnesota, and he is gonna be professional about all of this. Coach Pitino has no personal ties to the University of Minnesota, and he is gonna be professional about all of this. Turn the entire Athletic Department over to professionals with no Personal Ties to the University of Minnesota and we will have success.

Trent Tucker may be a nice guy, but I see him as exactly the opposite type of coach that Pitino is likely to name to his staff. Pitino (if I am reading the tea leaves accurately) wants a young, aggressive staff that is going to recruit 24/7. I'm not saying player development isn't important, but recruiting is the #1 priority. Teague reportedly (allegedly) didn't think Tubby and staff worked hard enough at recruiting - so I suspect he's told Pitino that he and his entire staff have to be heavily involved in recruiting. I just don't see Trent Tucker spending every free hour racing around the country hitting AAU tournaments.
