Why did Macura shun the Gophers?

Not saying it's true, but Jerry Meyer isn't a Minnesota guy. Him saying we held off isn't the same thing as a Badger fan saying they cooled on a recruit.
 

I don't know what Macura's thoughts were, but it was an Ignatius decision.
 

Because he wanted to stick it to Jim Souhan by committing to Chris Mack.
 




I thought he wanted to play up tempo basketball. Sometimes we think the BIG is slow tempo( especially with sconnie) but the big east always seems to be a grind it out conference IMO.
