That would be interesting. Its association with the Lynx seems to be beneficial. Why not Gophers football?

Mayo Clinic is pretty protective of their brand. Advertising with a women's adult professional league is probably safer than going with a league that has boys out of high school and more prone to "mischief".

The last thing Mayo wants to be associated with is another Gangelhoff Gate or some of the other shenanigans our Gophers have gotten in to in the past.
