Unreal with a heisman trophy QB they didn’t try to win the game on third and 5

Nobody is ever allowed to say he doesn’t “play not to lose” about cignetti again
One first down and it’s over

Inside zone third and 5
This is the one call I didn’t agree with, I thought on either 2nd or 3rd they should’ve called a drop back and tell Mendoza, if you don’t see anything then just tuck it and try to get something. Even if he lost yards it was still a short FG so net, it’s worth the risk of seeing if he had an easy look at a low risk pass to pick up first down because that ends the game.

Miami was in a tie for 3-6 in the ACC this year

Not much separates people, gotta tackle and win games

If cal loses to SMU and SMU wins the ACC title game Miami doesn’t even make the playoff
I meant they had 3 conference wins both three and four years ago.

What a weird post.
Why is it weird to respond to people commenting on the doubters with evidence that there are hardly any doubters?

They’ve been dogs twice all year, they haven’t been a dog to a non top 5 team

2025 Indiana is a really good team, if you think they’re an underdog youre a moron

!

2025
14-0 as favorite
2-0 as underdog

2024
11-0 as favorite
0-2 as underdog

In two seasons
25-0 as favorite
2-2 as underdog

Nobody believes!

In two years they’re 23-2 as a favorite and 2-2 as an underdog

They started the season as extreme long shots to win the championship. At least according to sports books. So yeah, not many believed. Here you go: https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/indiana-preseason-odds-where-hoosiers-083002127.html

Yup.
People should’ve bet on them. I wouldn’t have. Even once the playoffs started I thought Ohio state would win the national title.

But I wouldn’t only bet against them in two games all year.
(I would’ve been 0-2)

They’re 25-0 as Vegas favorites

They’re 2-2 as underdogs

They were a favorite of 7+ 13 times this year

Now that the novelty has worn off, absolutely zero reason for Cuban to keep buying Heisman winners.

Look for a 8-9 win IU team next year.
Insufferable. Got nothing left to tear them down this year so gotta focus on next year! No team since the 19th century has won 16 games and they beat in successive games OSU, Bama (destroyed), Oregon (destroyed, also beat on the road earlier in the year) and Miami AT HOME. When was the last time someone won a NC playing the team in their home stadium? They won 3 bowls in the history of the program and in the last 4 games they won a B1G championship, Rose Bowl, Peach Bowl and national championship.

Yep, Cignetti never takes his foot off the gas pedal. PJ would never try to run up the score and "embarrass" an opponent.
Cignetti literally ran inside zone for one on third and 5 when 6 yards ends the game tonight

They’re a great team

There isn’t really a difference between 63-10 and 42-14

It’s really coaches choice most of the time
In a thread where you've once again proven to be the King Of Bad Takes, this might be the all time King of Kings

Ell oh effing ell

He's already said he wrote a very big check for next season. Do you ever get tired of being wrong all the time?

It is interesting though
I don’t think Indiana goes away anytime soon but NiL is kind of an investment with a guaranteed lack of financial return.

Curious what it all looks like in 6-8 years

no I will not have sex with you even if you keep trying to stalk me
Stalk you? Hahaha
Dont flatter yourself. You have 28000+ posts. Nobody is stalking you. You're virtually impossible to avoid.

The ROI is personal enjoyment. It's a hobby for these uber wealthy guys. Financial return doesn't mean shit. This is like you or I playing fantasy football. Literally.

For sure.

So does that last. And if no when does it stop lasting

That's a good question. But GG implied that it should just go away right now, when Cuban himself has said he's upping his financial support.

Yeah I don’t read GG anymore

But it’s going to be interesting to watch.

Dude made one of the ballsiest calls in CFP history going for it on 4th and 5 when a FG puts them up 6......he played to win.
