This is the one call I didn’t agree with, I thought on either 2nd or 3rd they should’ve called a drop back and tell Mendoza, if you don’t see anything then just tuck it and try to get something. Even if he lost yards it was still a short FG so net, it’s worth the risk of seeing if he had an easy look at a low risk pass to pick up first down because that ends the game.

Yup.
People should’ve bet on them. I wouldn’t have. Even once the playoffs started I thought Ohio state would win the national title.

But I wouldn’t only bet against them in two games all year.
(I would’ve been 0-2)


They’re 25-0 as Vegas favorites

They’re 2-2 as underdogs

They were a favorite of 7+ 13 times this year

Insufferable. Got nothing left to tear them down this year so gotta focus on next year! No team since the 19th century has won 16 games and they beat in successive games OSU, Bama (destroyed), Oregon (destroyed, also beat on the road earlier in the year) and Miami AT HOME. When was the last time someone won a NC playing the team in their home stadium? They won 3 bowls in the history of the program and in the last 4 games they won a B1G championship, Rose Bowl, Peach Bowl and national championship.

I don’t think Indiana goes away anytime soon but NiL is kind of an investment with a guaranteed lack of financial return.

Curious what it all looks like in 6-8 years

The ROI is personal enjoyment. It's a hobby for these uber wealthy guys. Financial return doesn't mean shit. This is like you or I playing fantasy football. Literally.
