Who will lead the 2015 Gophers in rushing yards?

obviously health will play a part in this

I think once given a larger role Rod Smith will separate and Roderick will become the short yardage back

Rodney Williams. I hear he's the offensive version of Antonio Thompson.

If I had to wager, it would be Nugget. I wouldn't be suprised if he gets some all conference considerations (if he stays healthy and the O line is good).

I think Rodrick will start out getting the bulk of the carries, but we need somebody to become a playmaker. I don't see him being a big play type back. He will excel as a short yardage back and will grind out the tough yards. He could be featured if we had more of a passing game for sure. I think we will hopefully fall into a platoon of Rodrick and a change of pace with Edwards or Smith. Seems like JJ is going to play more out of the slot with limited carries for this year anyways.

Nugget and Smith should carry the load with plenty of help. Berkley may get less carries, but he might bust a bunch of long runs. Out of this group I think we break our all time rushing records in 2015. The rushing game will bust it wide open even with 8 in the box and our schedule. Yup, and the passing game comes back to life. KJ, JJ, Duke, and the Red Shirts.

Nugget with the most carries and TDs, Smith with the most yards. Berkley and JJ making noise.
