Nestor.....there were other good performances but this one is easy....Nestor was unreal all game. He was everywhere.

Nestor reminds me Terrell Buckley. Remember the Crouton? A good player who made some big plays, but got burned more often than you'd expect. And in the end, a lot of people remember the burns instead of the big plays.

Nestor by far, I, for one was not high on him, but he has played his way out of the burn unit.

Nestor had a game that will be talked about for decades. But Weston was almost as important, especially considering the conditions. He helped create a big advantage in field position.

I gave it to John Nestor, but honorable mention game balls deserved to Darius Taylor, Drake Lindsey and Jameson Geers and Lemeke Brockington for the scores and first downs.

Just watched some of the highlights on YouTube. Nestor was everywhere. That might be one of the greatest defensive games I ever seen. One player have. Huge stops on huge Downs. Three takeaways. All at key points and with great fuel position because of it. He played the game of his life. This will go down for me as the "Nestor Snowbowl"

Right before his second interception of the day and massive return that set us up for the victory, he stopped that end around play for a 4 or 5-yard loss as well.

Blurb in today's St. Paul Pioneer Press. I like this guy!

Nestor credited God first, then teammates. “I don’t think it’s a product of me at all, to be honest with you,” he said. “It was the whole defense as a collective. If you watch that play, Mav tipped that ball. If Mav doesn’t tip that ball, the (Wisconsin) guy catches it. That’s Mav’s pick. I owe him a steak dinner this week.”
