Who is your Gophers MVP in the big win at Illinois?

DT's best game of the year. He did it both running and receiving. Kesich was a close second to me. Every field goal was needed and he did it.

D. Fitting that they clinched the game with forced fumble. Tough to win on the road in the Big 10 especially against a ranked team that has had our number recently

Kesich with a huge pressure FG that didn't matter in the end, but totally altered the urgency level for Illinois' offense on their last drive.

Defense. But you could make the case for anyone on that list. Not a dominating effort like last week.....but that was a well played game all around. Team is clicking.

I gave it to DT because he carried the offense even though he clearly wasn't playing at 100% but there isn't a wrong answer on that list.

Fleck preaches complementary football.....this game was the definition of that. All 3 phases came up big today.

Offense protected the ball and put points on the board
Defense forced turnovers and made things tough on Illinois all game
Special Teams made all the kicks and avoided any disasters in the return game.

The Team, The Team, The Team...
Add Jah Joyner as the Closer!

DT was the best player on the field today

On offense, Darius Taylor
On defense, Danny Striggow

But a lot of players excelled today.

I'd go with Dragan but Kerry Brown should also be a stand-alone option IMO.

I agree. Give it to Dagon OR the program as a whole. This was as complete a team win as you can hope for.
It's not an award for offense, defense, or special teams. What individual player made the biggest impact on the win?

Today it was without question DT.

Well, it's a sports board. So there's going to be discussion. :)

Well, I see this one as more of a victory of the whole…. Really solid play by all. Player of the game? The whole program.

It is tough. Could give it to alot of people. But can't remove Max from any of this and expect same results.

So true. You know that things are going well when you have a plethora of MVP candidates.

i'm going dragan, dude was clutch
