I’m going to the game too, I have the hotel and flights booked but still need tickets.

What is the benefit to the U when buying tics thru them? Can you choose your seat location?
Bild hit on great points. The other piece is mentioned earlier, the allotment thru the U is in the club level, so you have the ability to go into the club and warm up. We did this for the Pinstripe Bowl and was so nice.

It's gonna be warmer than NYC a couple years ago but if you have people who get cold easily, like our group does, this is a nice perk.

Way too early forecast says high of 49 and partly cloudy.

Remember it's the wet cold down south. More humidity than we typically see. Not saying we won't be acclimated for the 30s but it is a little different.

So I thought about it but Charlotte does nothing for me. I've been - its ok. Vegas and Nashville Im in. Really anywhere I can get a little trouble and be like we'll yeah I was in _______.

Weather 10 days out continues to look pretty good. The high that day is in the mid-40s so upper 30s at kickoff is probably what we'll see. The stadium surface is field turf so no issues other than potential turf toe there.

Kiddo managed the ticket download fine yesterday so set there. We head out for Atlanta on Sunday. Time to start packing. We were ready to pack for all weather conditions but this will be pretty normal.

Would be interesting to hear from AD Coyle on UM sales. Not guessing Charlotte has a big UM contingent but maybe some other B1G+ fans in the area may have interest. That was a surprise at the Outback in 2019. There was more than a spattering of other Big 10 fans at the game. It was fun to see.

Doing some recon for the game and see a restaurant/pub right at the stadium where the Billds are parking called Graham St. Pub & Patio. Reviews are good so if not doing the U fan gig might be a good spot for a pre-game tune-up...

We're driving in from Rock Hill SC so a direct shot up I-77 North to I-277 East and off at the first exit. Head for Atlanta tomorrow...

It’ll probably be low 30s at kickoff.

Same as Penn State game.

It’ll be a chilly one.

Throw in some clouds and downtown heat island and that'll be worth a couple of degrees around kickoff. We're planning for layers if it really is 51 that afternoon. Our lot opens at 4:30 so that's our arrival time.

Bought a ticket in Tampa on 1 Jan 2000 for $75 just outside the stadium. Face value was like 150.
Like a paper ticket? They still make those?

Also... curious if you've shopped the Internet sites during the same time frame to see how prices compare?

Looks like there's an outdoor hockey match-up the next day in Charlotte. VT against UNC at Truist Stadium. Might be fun if still in town after the Gophers win the bowl game.
Wut?
They play hockey?

There will be 11 of us. No little kids. We tailgate at the home games but we would do Surly, Stub and Herbs, Buffalo Wild Wings. Really anywhere.
Apologies for the delayed reply. I would hit french quarter. Outdoors and a nice selection of 4 or 5 pubs to choose from. Also walking distance to the stadium.

Mrs. Billd will be wearing a vintage maroon sweater with a block M and old Goldy decal. Great to connect. We expect to be there around 4:30.
