When do you bench Tanner?

Don’t know for sure about Morgan, but Trickett shouldn’t see the field again.
While we're at it PJ should be looking at his Special Team coach as well. He has been much better this year. But if you start from very low baseline, everything looks good. Rossi went out and get studs like Jack Gibbens, Neil pinkney, St.Juste etc. His current OC and SPC went out and grab not so good prospects.

My dream is that (someday) the Gophers can get a mobile QB. Tanner is a statue back there, and being a Senior, he should not be throwing so many poorly thrown balls. Even some of the completions were not thrown well.

Let's get a solid O Line
It isn't just O-line play, Tanner locks in on one receiver and than doesn't come off the route this year until it is too late. This game was just like Bowling Green early, offense seems to be rolling and Tanner get's one turnover off a tipped ball and then he doesn't seem to let it go until it is too late. This was almost as bad as the Bowling Green game for Offensive performance. Tanner Morgan is starting to regress to Mitch Leidner like plateau. Well at least Mitch led a Minnesota win against Iowa, this is something Tanner Morgan will never accomplish iin 4 and 1/2 seasons.

Coach was pressing the team to get over to the end zone playing of Hail Minnesota...not so much as hurry up but more time to get ready for I-O-W-A next week.

He was actually encouraging them to let this one go before the ink dried on the officials scoring sheet.

We'll certainly see.

Just take him out for a quarter at the very least. What is the worst that could happen, we don’t score any points? Maybe TM needs a little fear of losing the starting job to settle himself down.

It’s beyond me that these coaches seem to just ride or die with what is in front of them. Coaches sometimes have to make tough decisions to pull someone out and put another in that gives them a better chance to win. When coaches don‘t do that, it shows me they don‘t have the winner/killer instinct. I feel like I’m watching Ted Lasso where wins don’t matter.

How many punts do we have to let bounce till we change the return man?

I guess the question is how good the next men up are. We're not even sure who the backup QB is, let alone if he could move the team better.

I think the Gophers could have won today if they went with Cole Kramer package the entire 2nd half, or at least the large majority of it.

I don't think any of us have any idea if there's a better passing QB on the roster. Benching the QB should only be done if it's a path to getting better, not to showing outrage.

Anyone not think he’d end in an int when Gophers got the ball with under two minutes left? Anyone and everyone near me made comments about the pending interception and I HATE being right.

Double problem:

1) guys can’t get open
2) Morgan holds the ball too long and doesn’t give them a chance

Morgan, something is wrong, he was never or hasn't been this indecisive and late and behind on his throws as he was today. He Morgan was just so off today it affected the whole game.

None of his wideouts are open. And he doesn’t throw it to covered guys.

I don’t think the scheme did him any favors
