10 points at home against a crap team like Kent State is not acceptable for a team that wants to view itself as a contender in their division. I want to believe it is going to get better over the remainder of the season but they went into this game knowing they needed to play better on offense than they did against CSU and then went out and laid a massive offensive egg.

They scored as many points with our offense on the field as we did

2.4 YPC is awful. The O-line made no holes, Leidner was off target, the receivers weren't getting open. Just a disaster of a game

One has to wonder if a change is coming soon at QB. Croft was warming up at one point, but that's it. I doubt there was any intention of ever playing him today

Leidner completed 63% of his passes today so he was more on target than usual. His two early interceptions probably spooked the coaches somewhat and may have contributed to the excessively conservative play calling. I do agree with the other observations, but Leidner's passing was the only thing on offense that was effective at all. In a game where the rushing averaged 2.4 per carry, Leidner should have been passing more.
