No dropped punts, Mortell pinned them deep a few times, no missed field goals. Good game for the special teams. Please remind me of something I missed, I'm sure there is a downside I'm forgetting about.

Big Return by Pierson-El but that was negated by a missed field goal.

santoso is legit. mortell is either amazing (deep pins) or not good (low kicks that force him to make tackle to save td)

Besides the good things already mentioned, we need to work on the onside kicking. I liked the misdirection with Harte but the kick was a stinker. The last several onside kicks have been subpar, with poor kicks and timing in general. Seems like something to spend some time on. The reviewable blocking rules make it a heck of a lot tougher. We cannot make contact until either the ball travels ten yards or the receiving team touches. Used to be easier to fudge.

I wouldn't say it was negated, still impactful on field position.

Yep, after their missed field goal we fumbled and gave them the ball back deep again.

Our kick return team was horrible and our punt coverage team was just sad. On the bright side out Punt return team looked like they had their game together today for the first time this season.

I thought the issuse was a line drive kick as much as poor coverage. Morrell needs to use the sidelines if there is going to be that little hang time.
