What grade would you give the Gophers in the Rate Bowl win?

B feels about right. Offense was horrible in the first half with the exception of the TD drive but D played really well all game and without the KO return TD it is highly likely that New Mexico would have been stuck on 6 for the remainder of the game because they could get nothing going on the D.

Wasn't pretty but it was a W and a nice way to end the 2025 season as we head into what will almost certainly be a crazy off season as the transfer season gets going.

Vegas had us only favored by 1.5 pts, evenly matched teams teams. I went with a B.

B. I think some people might be underestimating how good the Lobos were and overestimating how good we were this year. As was pointed out, the line was 1.5 points. The Lobos were within one score of Michigan heading into the fourth quarter and lost to them by 14 points. Michigan beat Central Michigan, the team Northwestern played in their bowl, 63-3! There is a big difference between some of these G5 schools. The gap between the P4 and G5 has increased, but not evenly. It was a good win for the Gophers and a fun game! The ending was stressful, but great! We seemed like the slightly better team and won. It might not be what we want, but it is where we are.

I agree the Lobos won't have this coaching staff for long.
