Should have gone with a C however it is our one and only road win for 2025. B.

BTW, New Mexico matched up with the post-season Gophers pretty well. Good for them going into the future.

No Aggie Vision woes with this one either. Thanks ESPN.

Beating the NM Bobos isn't a great accomplishment. In fact it was nearly a loss, so it was nearly an F. But C is a passing grade, and hopefully next year we'll show some improvement.

B. We won, defense played great and the whole team was resilient against the toughest and best UNM team in decades. Especially given that this was practically a road game for us i am happy

Once the defense had a chance to adapt and scheme for the different QBs and their motion / RPO game, we were on.

Our offense was terrible all game. 2 great catches by a freshman and a great RB1 saved us. We need so much help with offensive scheming.

B for another bowl victory. There is a correlation between the type of players that PJF recruits and many of them taking bowl season as another opportunity to get better.

We didn't wow anything. But we also don't have any receivers left and lots of other holes. Refs didn't really give us much and we still won. "C" effort for sure.

A on defense, D/F for offense. Averaged it to a C. So many improvements needed at the line, wr, and scheming this offseason. This was an excellent holiday for MN football defenses and an awful holiday for MN football offenses.

Nice to end with a win and hit 8 for the season. Much to be hopeful about for next year if some solid progression is achieved within the offense. I don't hate Harbaugh, but he needs to improve exponentially.

The defense was an "A" and the offense was a "C" so the grade is "B." I know I'm forgetting about the special teams but UNM just pulled off a rare one on that TD.

How can you say the defense was an "A" when they gave up God knows how many first downs on third and long? Lot's of missed tackles.

C+/B-

Returning doesn't mean better. There is A Lot of work that needs to be done there. Big, slow, and not very athletic can only be coached up so much.

Because they held them to 17 points through overtime and gave up 3.1 yards per play. Also, 7 of their points were from a special teams touchdown.

And couldn't get off the field when they should have in multiple instances. Plus, UNM could/should have had 3 interceptions in the first quarter, which would have vastly changed the game. Yes, they played as bad as we did.

That's not on the defense. Had the offense given up turnovers there I would have counted that against the offense but they didn't.

True. Doesn't change the fact that the defense gave up multiple 3rd and longs all night long. Defense was DEFINATELY not an A.

B. They are very solid, arguably the best team in the MWC. Good staff. We have serious issues and gutted out a win against a legit team

Defense definitely an A. Zero TDs allowed, 204 total yards, Only 8 points allowed, and a huge stop in OT. Lobos really didn’t come close to a TD all night. A 44% 3rd down conversion rate is not bad at all especially since they didn’t even sniff the end zone.

Offense was pretty bad for big chunks of the night, I’d give a D. Drake did not look sharp all game and was lucky to get out of that first half without an interception. Smith completely bailed him out on that last TD catch, just a great individual play. Darius Taylor is also a stud, really hope he comes back next year and stays healthy.

Overall B because they covered the spread over a pretty solid Lobo team with a fan base that showed up big time.
