What grade would you give the Gophers coaches in the Quick Lane Bowl win?

the took the talent they had and outclassed a MAC team. Normally we should have won by more, but we have little receiving talent and no QBs at all. So I was happy enough.

Not to mention a patchwork defense with a guy calling plays that's never called plays before.

I would go B+. Winning without DC, Spann-Ford, T Nubin, & AK, no small feat.

I thought odder than the missed trick 2 pt conversion, was not going for 2 in the 2nd half, up by 12. Twice.

Special teams was a grade A as it was the difference in the game. The offenses and the defenses of the 2 teams were a draw.

Yeah we had some good special teams play other than field goals… who knew?!?!?

I agree. I thought going for two when you are playing in a bowl game at 5-7 was odd but was also like playing with house money. Not going for two when up 12 made no sense, either time.

I'll give them a B. Defense was patched together, but was effective overall. Darius did not need to run 35 times. Nubin and even Taylor should have gotten more carries. Le'Mke had a nice return, like to see more of that.
