Week One Non-Minnesota Games Thread

Stanford's offense looks horrible also though. Lots of dropped passes and bad passes. Hogan is averaging less than 4 yards per attempt.

Has Hogan always thrown side arm. He's going backwards.

Justin Jackson may end up with 350 rush attempts this season.

Illinois up 21-0 over Kent St. in the first.

Yeah Northwestern looks better than last year, Justin Jackson is a good running back. Stanford doesn't look great though, not sure they're really a top 25 team.

The ESPN announcers seem to think they'll bounce back and make the playoffs... lol.

Lol yeah I heard that too, something about them being a playoff dark horse.

Big Ten nerds beat Pac 12 nerds. Nice win for them.

No he said some thought they had outside chance at playoff. He the said they lost 9 guys on defense. He then said most have Minnesota as favorite in the west. Cunningham is one of the worst color analysts.

Pelini's new squad, Youngstown St, is playing tough against Paul Chryst's old team, Pitt. 24-16 in the 3rd.

Heard that. How the heck would they know without even seeing the other teams in action? Once again.....preseason rankings pull a shade over everyone's eyes.

An evil part of me wants to see BYU win this in front of the Husker faithful.

Illinois up 38-0 over Kent St. in the 2nd quarter.

Kansas has the ball with :39 down 41-38 to South Dakota St.

Edit: And on Kansas' first play, they threw a 3-yard pass in the middle of the field. They have no timeouts left. They're not even at midfield.

The non evil part of me has a hard time cheering against Nebraska.

Ha, then Kansas throws a pass down to the 35 or so with 7 seconds left. They go up to spike the ball but the QB drops the ball instead so it is just a fumble recovery, clock keeps running and game ends.

Wow, Penn State's kicker is a tank! He wears number 99 and he's huge, I would have thought he was a defensive lineman if I didn't know better.

Tommy Armstrong might be my favorite big ten quarterback. Hard not to like him.

Lots of suspensions in Bloomington as of late!

Go Gophers!!

Eastern Michigan's uniforms are truly horrendous. Also for some reason they have incorporated yellow in their uniforms even though their colors are green and white. Don't forget that they play on a GRAY field so watching this is a whole extra level of awfulness.

He took about a ten yard straight on run at the ball and put it in the end zone.

My question is why are you watching this Eastern Michigan vs. Old Dominion?

Washington St. is tied 10-10 with powerhouse Portland St. I know Washington St. is a tough place to win but Leach's time there has been a disaster. I'm pretty happy we didn't hire him.

BYU ties it up with the Huskers. I've got nothing against Nebraska, but I'd be okay with them not being a threat to win the West.

Louisville is shooting themselves in the foot against Auburn. First they get inside the 10, have a bunch of penalties, then miss a FG. Now they get inside the 20 and fumble, Auburn returns it for a TD. Down 14-0, could easily be up 14-7.

Issue is this week has no effect on that
