Week 9 Other Games Thread

forbid you try at one point maybe run some PA when they have 10 guys at the line of scrimmage.
Well, they really shook things up with that outside run on 3rd down to go with their runs up the middle on 1st, 2nd, and 4th!

Does that mean you are willing to pick Indiana to beat OSU? Hoosiers have looked good today against a team I thought they'd struggle with. It was sad to see open seats in Bloomington with an undefeated #13 team in the nation...

With QB Rourke, absolutely. The OSU defense is not elite. QB2 Tavyen is not currently the same player. Who knows, first game as starter jitters.

I know it's tOSU, but this Nebraska offense looks really inept. I was thinking to myself "we should be able to beat them" then I remembered that in the new look, 40 team B1G we don't play them this year.

you're not wrong. then again, both of these teams look completely inept today. I will be surprised if Day doesn't feel the pressure to fire someone on the staff here as a fall guy. They're going to be getting restless in Columbus

Raiola definitely looks the part, but some of his throws…….

nebby back into scoring zone and we inexplicably put in the backup QB again and it becomes obvious and they get stuffed.

why would you once again go away from what is working?

Huskers are clowning Ohio State right now. Nice TD drive.

Edit, down short by a whisker…oh boy.

Nebby leads OSU 17-14 with 10 minutes left in 4Q. How the F did Nebby get rolled so badly by Indiana? Is I dis a that good?

After watching OSU this year my two cent opinion is they are less than the sum of their expensive parts.

Win, lose, or draw there are issues in the Woody Hayes football complex. They can’t rely on officiating as crooked as their flag every week. Ok, maybe they can.

Even OSU has depth issues. Their 2nd string LT has been pretty awful.

My wife's family are big Notre Dame fans. I told them America will hate them even more if they ruin the chances of an undefeated Army vs Navy matchup. They're up 21-7 on Navy.
If they both only lose to Notre Dame they’ll meet in their conference championship, and again the next week in the traditional Army-Navy game. Would be pretty cool

Gut check time for OSU

And just like that a pretty ticky tack offensive PI. Now targeting. Will they overturn…Big Ten command center GO

100% the right call. amazed they stuck with the call

The defender threw a forearm elbow at the receiver., not a shoulder like the announcers are suggesting.

I don’t like it. WR is falling down so where is he supposed to hit him.
down in his legs. you will never get a penalty going low to tackle someone. and 100% this should also be a penalty on OSU fans/coaches for unsportsmanlike

It’s hard because you want to teach defenders to hit the midsection to try to knock the ball out. It’s hard to predict if the WR will lower his head too.

By rule it’s the right call, I just don’t like it in a play like that.

I agree on there should have been an unsportsmanlike on Day, not for arguing with the refs, but for while on the field, ripping off his headset and stomping around.

coming over the middle like that, it's just not the game anymore. rb in the open field, sure. i also played when it was how you taught people to hit to separate the receiver from the ball, but with how they've changed the rules it's kind of a bygone thing or you just have to live with the potential consequences.

what the abysmal play calling sequence followed by an completely moronic decision and throw from Raiola and that's game

SO.....is OSU that bad (today at least), or is Nebby that much better (today at least)? I'm guessing somewhere in between. Patiently waiting for Jon Johnson's take.

There’s been a big talent boost at Nebraska, but coaching decisions are a little suspect.

He was definitely going after the ball with his forearm. I think it was questionable
