Week 4 Media Predictions: Ohio at Minnesota

first they are way high on our points and way high on Ohio

if the OL is a little healthier we win 28 -3

if they are the same as last week we win 17 -3

Minn 9
Ohio 3

Santoso game MVP with 3 FGs around 50, and 2 other missed tries around that distance. Also Peter Mortell gets some game MVP type love.

Ohio's a good team. Bowl eligible for 6 years in a row. They've gone into Penn State and won. Solich is a good coach. If they play offensively like they played last week, the Gophers lose by more than a TD.

It's not 2012 and Ohio's offense is not exactly spectacular. If you stop their run, they'll throw picks. At the most, they will drive the length of the field 3 times Sat. Without the O giving away free points, I'd say the D holds them to 13.

(My Captain Obvious Predictions)
If the Gophers offense has no turnovers, Minnesota wins.
If the Gophers offense finds life, Minnesota wins.
If the Gophers defense scores points, Minnesota wins.
If Minnesota doesn't accomplish one of the above, Ohio wins.

Wonder if Nebraska would like the sort of consistency Solich brings...

BobcatAttack.com chimes in:

GH: Who wins and why?

TT: I think Minnesota circles the wagons. They got their clunker out of the way last week and beat Ohio this week.

GH: What is your Ohio at Minnesota score prediction?

TT: Could be a rock fight, I'll go 20-10 Minnesota. If Ohio can put up a big number offensively vs. the Gophers, we'll know we have something.

Couldn't agree more. Our only scoring will come from the defense so we need a pick 6 and a kick or punt return to have a chance. Offense will put up a field goal at most.
