They also screwed them over on a intentional grounding call. The refs skipped a down.

The ball wasn't moving, and looked like it was downed by Miss St, and you can see the ref coming in to blow it dead but just doesn't blow the whistle for some reason. That was a total screw up by the officiating. It shouldn’t have counted as Memphis had two #4’s on the field at the same time.

Penn St is getting absolutely hosed by the SEC refs.
And now a missed intention groundingYep. The 4th down scrum was an absolutely terrible spot.

OpDid anyone hear Allen’s comments after the Cincy game? I’ll look for them and edit, but at first blush he sounded like a whiner.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it (I’m in the minority and don’t like Tom Allen), but go to the 3:50 mark when he’s asked about a targeting call. I feel it was the correct call 100%. He says something like “sometimes life’s not fair, and things happen that are unfair”, and then talks about how he didn’t know who it was called on, and he couldn’t see it on the replay, it wasn’t called on the field…and then goes on to say that he needs to review it because he only saw limited angles on the replay.

It reminds me of when there is a giant in a scene of a sci-fi movie and they smash all sorts of people before being toppled.
Had to aim too low to avoid targeting.Great hurdle
