Week 14 Other Games Thread

should of handed off. They were ready up the middle. But I know he thought he'd get it.

Fun game to watch. Tech against UGA much like us against PSU. Sure the folks at The Swarm are bummed but both teams had their chances once it got to OT.

There's a chance we'd play GT if we go to Charlotte. That would be a good match-up. Revenge game for 2018 for them.

Don’t want to play a 7-5 team that’s good

Prefer a 8-4 team that’s bad

I think we resemble that remark and point taken.

Playing Auburn turned out pretty well as I recall. Virtually no one picked us to win that one, especially the Auburn fans.

I disagree with that take. Sure....Tech had plenty of opportunities to win in OT. Doesn't change the fact that it probably never should have gotten to that point.
They also got given the pi in ot and clear one not called on them. King fumbled when they could’ve put it away. They missed the bunny fg and failed in the red zone multiple times to put the ball in the end zone or even get points at times. Again I get there are some calls that went against them but it’s not as heavily slanted as it’s being made out to be just because the play or two you bring up occurred when they did. The tip was incredibly tough to see and his hand is on his back on the pi. Refs fuck that up all the time because they just assume you’re using it as leverage

On a play that was clearly targeting. You can't lead with the crown of your helmet and that was about as blatant as it gets. Down the stretch in regulation, Georgia got a lot of calls. It's like the replay booth especially just decided to take the 4th quarter off.

Like how do you miss this? The image doesn't do it justice, it was even more obvious watching it live. Georgia tied it up two plays later. IMG_3479.jpeg

Thinking some more about GT/UGA vs UM/PSU as unranked underdogs playing out-of-their-league quality football. We played PSU at home but still came up short. That GT team last night would have beaten UGA at Bobby Dodd or possibly Mercedes Benz Stadium if not in Athens. They pulled off that performance in very hostile conditions once the Georgia offense woke up in the 4th quarter. Great game but someone had to lose.

I think the South Carolina/Clemson game will be of interest. If the Gamecocks win it could send Clemson to the Mayo Bowl. Could it be a matchup with the Gophers?

Anyone think Purdue is going to stick around in its game today? They have nothing to play for and Indiana has everything. Could be an interesting one...
