Ufda! It was a close one where it was necessary to go into the tie breakers for 2nd, 3rd and 4th. From there, I doublechecked, and then again checked them again. It was nerve wracking to make sure everything was correct.

GOLDENBOY finished in first place alone taking home the $75.00 (Two years in a row!)
USAF edged out a couple due to the tiebreakers taking 2nd place where he will pocket $50.00
Ski-U-Ham took 3rd place where he will be given $25.00
Gophers7NatTitlesBadgers0 finished in 4th place losing out of the money by 1 point in a tie breaker
LegalGopher was all alone in 5th place.
BobbyG, MirandaB, and Xerxes finished in a tie for 6th place
Pinkymingo and Tech Machine finished in a tie for 9th place.

Thanks to everyone who participated this year and were patient with me when an error occurred.
Once again super thanks to GOPHERHOLE for sponsoring Pick'ems again this year!
I will PM the three pickers who will have a little extra spending money this Holiday Season.

Nice work. I live for that day. I know I will never win it all. I don't think it is fair that #2 put a hex on me.

These things sound like fun. I wouldn't know because the only thing I'm good at picking is my nose (or maybe my ass). In that order usually.

You guys are hilarious! Great to be able to talk some smack. Even winning it back to back, I have no reason to gloat. Both years I hung close enough to the top (despite wildly inconsistent performance: some perfect weeks and a few 0-fers!). Got crazy hot at the end of both seasons. 5 of 5 last week and squeaked out the win. 6 of 6 in the last week of 2024 to eak out the top spot. Nobody more surprised than me. Thanks for the fun.
I love when pickers add commentary on the prior week’s results. Thought of doing more of that, but it seemed boorish when I was near the lead.

Honestly, I don't know who came in last. We had more than a few who were in and out on the weekly pick'ems. Probably trying to take a shot of picking all 4 games correctly and be recognized. For the most part, not so easy. Many upsets. As a result of that, those scores were low.

Furthermore, when pickers would fall way behind for some reason, I eliminated them off of my sheet to make it shorter. At the beginning of the year, I would have 4 sheets of pickers in alphabetical order. By the last weekend, I'm down to one sheet. Bear in mind, I'm very careful not to eliminate anyone until it is clear that they don't have a chance to catch up. Also, until the last weekend when I was more concerned about getting the standings correct, I was mindful of honoring all who picked all the winners correctly. As a result, I failed to recognize Unregistered User as we were on the 2nd tie breaker, and I was a tad nervous of screwing up again.

Yes, Goldenboy was correct that he was behind along with a few others who hung in there and slowly crept up the standings. After the first couple, three weeks, every year we have had a few who always give up very quickly. They shouldn't. I'm not going to embarrass anyone by posting someone's low score.

I really don't mind doing this. Something I can do so it was my pleasure. Need a little more trash talking though!
