Week 12 Other Games Thread

Good strength of schedule, only loss was on the road against the #1 team in the country. I get that many people can't stand them but people act like they shouldn't even be in the top 25.

Every team you listed has their weaknesses. Ohio St. hasn't beaten a top 25 team. Michigan St. lost to a 5-win Nebraska team. Michigan has two losses. Oklahoma lost to a bad Texas team. I can see people making an argument that all those teams should be ahead of ND...

I can't see people making a case for ND being ahead of any of those teams.

Tonight ND barely beat the worst team in the ACC (a conference that, let's be honest, is something of an "honorary" P5 Conference only).

This ND team is much worse than the 2012 team that crapped all over itself in the NCG, just like everyone who wasn't a ND-homer knew they would.

Let's see:

1. Oklahoma gained 20 yards in the 4th quarter.
2. TCU erased a 17 point deficit.
3. Oklahoma QB injured.

Let's go for 2... seems legit.

What a stupid call. Big 12 title on the line. It's not like TCU had nothing to play for. Just stupid.

See I disagree. First, I thought TCU would get it. But 2nd, I told my son 10 minutes ago that TCU would go for 2. And I appreciate a coach that does that. Try and win. Be the better team.

I can see why you would do it if your season is over, but with a conference title on the line it seems really stupid in my opinion. All or nothing situations that can be avoided when the opposing team's offense is in turmoil seems like a bad risk. Live to fight another day. Don't lose the title on 1 play if you don't have to.

I think we've been saying the 4-16 team conferences with non-conference games against themselves (like the NFL) is something that will probably happen in the next 20 years. I think it will be fine for football but not good for basketball.

I just don't see it going to four 16 team conferences. That would mean at least two teams who are currently in a power 5 conference will be left out. If you add Notre Dame, then it will be another one. I think it is more likely that we see five 16 team conferences.

McCaffrey is so good. 282 all purpose yards in the first half alone for Stanford. He probably won't win the Heisman but he should be a finalist.

This is the most wide open the Heisman has been in a long time. A pretty good chance a QB doesn't win it this year.

I think it will be 4, 18 team conferences.
