Website page question

I have no idea if this is possible, but:

Often there are threads that grow to many pages. Say a thread gets to 20 pages....Usually there will be a selection/choice of page 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, Last Page. Who wants to go to page 15? Any way the 'next to last page'(that page #) can be one of the options?.....in this case it would be page 19. Would make a lot more sense. Wouldn't have to go through the page selection process.
