If he can do 80% of what he did tonight on a regular basis, he has to start. The offense is so much more functional with a real PG.

Agreed. We can't expect IW to go 13 ast/O to's every game. His approach tonight though, is what we need every night.

Heck of a game by IW. I will be curious to see how he does next time out. 1 game is not a trend.

As Costa said, the key will be for IW to show some consistency - smooth out the game and give a consistent effort.

If he could average - let's say - 8 or 9 points and 6 or 7 assists a game, I would take that for the rest of the year. He doesn't have to be Superman - and we shouldn't expect him to be Superman. The Gophers just need him to show up every night and be decent.

I thought the opposite, he looked great against UMD, he was bothered by the defensive pressure tonight, played better in the second half but the game was long over by then.
