Forgive me if this has been posted before. Click the following link to see a terrific video piece featuring Victor Kiese. I never knew how articulate, poised and gentlemanly he is. Seems like a great human being and a fine young man. Seems like the type of kid Jerry Kill (or anyone for that matter) would love. Does anyone know if Victor practices, trains and puts forth effort on the football field the way Kill wants? I'm interested to learn what the "scoop" is on Victor if anyone is truly "in the know". Do you think he will ever be a starter or big contributor? Thanks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1_JSu8q8J8

I remember before the season Gray mentioned Kiese as a player to watch to this year. I don't remember his name being called out a whole lot, or even really at all, this year. Am I Just blind/deaf?

No Stats for Victor. I agree, he's a really nice kid that unfortunately has been prone to injuries.

The one time I saw him out on the field (New Mexico State) and have a pass thrown to him from Shortell, he reacted about 1/2 second too slow. I think with the injury situation his timing is off. The speed in D-1 far exceeds anything in High School, so reps are important.

I'd like to see more of Victor.

Victor Kiese is a hard kid to get a read on (as far as his ability).

During the practices he really stood out, he seemed like a legit Big 10 WR and there were a couple times when I thought he was going to be our obvious #2 this season. I don't know if he has been banged up a lot or if he is just not playing that well (or possibly the practices were an abberation), but he hasn't done much this season. I almost think he has to banged up a bit just because i'd have a hard time believing the person who I saw in practices wouldn't do much at all in the games. But then again a talented kid like Lair hasn't done a whole lot either.

There is no kid that I'm rooting harder for than Victor Keise. This kid has such an unbelievable work ethic, he's so well-spoken, bright, polite, and just a nice kid.

I'm sure many of you have read this, but this is Vic's blog from his senior year that he wrote for GH:

When you look at the maturity he had at age 17, it's remarkable. I know a lot of people that don't handle themselves this well at my age.
