Not surprising. I have to wonder if things were reversed, how much of an outrage there would be right now. My guess is there would be some calling for the player to be dismissed from the team.

I might very well be, but not in this case. The contempt evoked by the usage of that word is reciprocal to whomever it is applied, and in the context of your boy Andrew Harrison's usage, particularly so.

First Harrison has nothing to do with why Wisconsin is almost all white. Harrison was wrong for saying that comment and stupid for where he said it. Maybe another year at UK would do him a great deal of good. Second, the article itself was wrong and anybody connected to the publishing of it is wrong. The only colors that matters in any sport is the home and away jerseys. Some of the garbage I've read on this thread could not have been posted by these so-called "real" Gopher fans because we don't want to let our personal short comings and ignorances negatively affecting the school or program. Why would anyone on this site give a crap what the make up of Wisconsin is as long as their players and coaches aren't cheating.

So a black person calling their black friend the word is as offensive as a white person calling a black person the n-word? That might win the award for the dumbest and most offensive post on here. The offensive part of what Harrison said was the f him part, not the other.
