Updates from PJ Fleck’s Monday Morning Presser

When asked what the keys to the largest comeback win in decades was, Coach credited his coaching staff on their ability to "shift," saying that sometimes game prep doesn't go as planned but that the Gophers "are resilient, they respond." Courage coming up in every resopnse

When asked about the environment for next week: "It's impossible to recreate that environment... there's 107,000 in there and it's deafening. And that's for a night game." Said he knows his players will need to have poise and execute

"We have to do what we do, we have to have great week of practice, and we need to have an attention to detail."

"You know I love to run the football." - PJ Fleck
"There's not five Darius Taylors on your team."
Says not having some guys will affect how you plan to win a football game, gives the first half against Rutgers as an example

Consistency is key in the run game says Coach. "If we can clean up the details, we'll have a lot of success." "Everybody can do something a little bit better."

"We have to be better," says Coach on 2-7 on 3rd down. "You gotta get 3rd and 1, 4th and 1 to be able to win a football game."

Credits Drake Lindsay: "We have so much confidence in what he does. The conversation we had in the headset was, let's put the ball in five's hands." "I love coaching this team and he starts with the quarterback."

"That PBU that Kerry Brown has might be one of the plays of the game."
"Koi travels 2/3rds of the field while the ball's in the air."

Gave a ton of credit to the fans for the environment against Rutgers. Especially the student section, he says, has been “Letting it rip”

That’ll do it for this morning. Coach was not forthcoming on the status of Darius Taylor, saying “there’ll be another report with whatever adjective you want to use for him” and we will know his status two hours before kick. Ohio stadium looms large this weekend

Thanks for the update.

Great updates! I don't expect to win at OSU, but I think they will come prepared!
