It is N872CT and it is registered to Gopher Air LLC out of New Richmond, WI and cannot be tracked on flightaware because the company has requested that it not be available.

Probably just there for repair though like a previous post said. MV tweeted that it isn't a plane related to the U of M too.

"MES" means it's a Mesabi Air owned plane. They probably have a Gopher logo on it as a PR move. May, in fact have it on several planes.

The plane is question is not a Mesaba owned plane. The plane is likely just in Lincoln for routine maintenance/repairs
