On Aug. 10 (not sure of times) there will be three All-Star games, a dunk contest, and a 3-point contest. Multiple Gopher recruits, class 2014-2019 will be at the event. Matt Jessen-Howard is Director of the event, and Alex Kline is on the Board of directors so it should be a good event.

Players are still being added to the roster. This roster is not final.

Thought so too, only player outside of Minnesota playing. Maybe Pitino played a part in it. Another thing I noticed is Kamili Chambers is going to the same prep school as Alex Illikainen.

Last I heard, McBrayer was visiting in mid-August. Must have moved up to this weekend, if he's playing in this event. Hopefully we hear of a commitment soon thereafter.

No Coffey, no Illikainen. Otherwise, all the usual suspects.

Gopher Hole, please consider attending the Twin Cities Classic today! There will be lots of Gopher targets playing, including Jarvis Johnson, Sacar Anim, Brock Bertram, Gary Trent Jr., Reed Nikko, Tyler Johnson, Brad Davison, Michael Hurt, Goanar Mar, and Jamil Jackson. Alex Illikainen is still recovering from his broken nose, and Dupree McBrayer had to cancel his visit last minute (will comment more on Dupree's situation later). Updated rosters and schedules can be found at our website, twincitiesclassic.org.

Games are at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm at Woodbury High School. The 6pm game is mostly 2015s, the 4pm game is mostly 2016s, and the 2pm game is mostly 2017s. There's also a dunk contest at 5:30 featuring Jarvis, Sacar, Andre Wallace, and Dan Jech! Should be fun!

The Twin Cities Classic is in partnership with the American Cancer Society, and 100% of net proceeds go to charity. Admission is $10 at the door for adults, and $5 for kids 10 and under with a paying adult. You can also donate online at twincitiesclassic.org/donate if you're interested.

I was not aware of the event until today but will definitely attend. We need to give McBrayer an incredible amount of love tonight. He would be a huge get for club Pitino! Everything he says makes me think he will be a Gopher. Add the attention our staff is giving him and it seems like the feeling is mutual.

It would be great if he created some drama and committed prior to or during the event tonight. Just dreaming!
