Maybe he had a tantrum because he was arrested for leaving a thoughtful facebook message? Obviously there's more to it than that, but that act alone doesn't seem deserving of being arrested. I realize it's a law but it's still a little outrageous that his ex would straight up have him arrested that quickly. Not saying that it wasn't idiotic or that his history doesn't raise some serious questions, but that seems like a pretty normal reaction. Obviously he shouldn't have done it publicly though. Quality stuff at the end of your post. Any time you can exaggerate something to the point that you come up with an analogy that involves fans defending one of the worst people to ever live, you're doing a good job.
This is not his first mistake.
Cut him some slack? Why? Is it too much to ask Gopher basketball players to obey restraining orders?
How do you know the intent either? Look at his little tantrum on Twitter after the fact.
Adolf Hitler could play for the Gophers and people like you would defend him simply because he can almost average a double-double.
