Every strength coach is an ummm not a nice guy.I wouldn’t. Guy is an ass the three times I’ve interacted with him.
If PJ goes out and gets a targeting penalty....that will be kinda awesome!
I most certainly, most definitely, without thinking twice, would sacrifice your hurt feelings if it meant the Gophers would go to the Rose Bowl.I wouldn’t. Guy is an ass the three times I’ve interacted with him.
Or they don't do a good job identifying defensive talent, and have no clear type of player they want. Look at Wisconsin, year after year with average recruits they are good. Same with Iowa. That's what our previous staff was doing on defense (not on offense).
Leading with the crowd of ... a bald head... 15 yards...As much as he's on the field, he'll get there. He's closer to making a tackle than many of the front 7.
Wisconsin is blowing up. 36-10 vs Big Ten - including this year so far - under Chryst. 2016, 17, and 19 they finished ranked top 12 and went to NY6 bowls. I suspect 2020 will be the same as 2017 for them: undefeated regular season, then lose to Ohio St in the champ game.I don't think the bolded is the case anymore.
Per 247, wisconsin's recent nat'l rankings:
2018 46
2019 29
2020 26
2021 16.
Iowa's recent nat'l rankings:
2018 39
2019 41
2020 36
2021 23.
We may have seen an uptick in recruiting under Fleck on a national level, but unfortunately, we haven't made up any ground telative to our two main rivals. In fact we've lost ground to wisconsin. I expect that has to change if we want to consistently beat either if those teams.
He was secondary coach and then DCEvery strength coach is an ummm not a nice guy.

The West is their plaything. They own the division. If they keep improving recruiting, like they did bringing in Mertz, eventually they'll have a chance to get close to Ohio St and maybe start beating them in the champ game.
