This was the last shot today:

And what Finchy had to say about it:

Honestly, Ant makes that shot a lot, tonight wasn't his night...and I love that he has so much confidence to always take it, but think it would shake up some defenses if that wasn't the path always taken. Granted, I think a lot of times there is a play drawn up and Ant takes over, but today there wasn't. Finchy just trusted them.

He's 0-14 with under 10 seconds left to tie or win a game; 0-9 from 3. His shot selection is absolute trash and this team is going nowhere until he figures that out.
That said, the team had absolutely no business being in a position where they needed a last second shot last night. Nobody in the NBA comes out flat more often than the Wolves, especially against mediocre to bad teams. That's on the coach.

BtP summed it up.

Ant is embarrassing when it matters but he also has no clutch help. And on a team that continuously comes out flat vs trash teams

And a coach that just allows him to keep bricking the same shot instead of drawing up something different with eons of time

I wouldn't say Ant's shot selection is trash - he wouldn't be the be hitting 90 points in 2 nights, or breaking records like he is - he's just on or off on any particular night.

The Wolves do seem to come out flat against the wrong teams...and then you have last night, where they were on the whole time against the best.

And Finch does usually draw up a play, he let them go during this one...but he's said many times they didn't execute the play he drew up. Usually it's Ant and he just takes the shot himself.
