The Offensive Line is problem

Midweek crazy people posts are fun.

ole, ole, ole...
you don't think there is a reason for all this losing that badger joel macturi has instilled
within the revenue sports programs at the U of M?????

Just what is his record since he fired and bought out the contracts he had recently extended for Mason and Monson? It seems as though Lucia and the Men's Hockey Program also hit the skids at about that time. Tubby hasn't been setting the world on fire with his 2 million plus per year salary. We just finished experiencing brewball. Haven't you gotten kind of sick and tired of this badger joel macturi reign of incompetence re: the Men's Revenue Sports?

And now, there are some on this board who suggest the worst for the Football Program again in 2011. Gopher Football has won 8 Big Ten games in the past 4 seasons. Zero border battles and zero trophy games.

Now we hear that the Gophers took NMSU too lightly? We have Nebraska, Illinois, iowa and wisky coming into TCF BANK STADIUM, following visits by Miami of Ohio and NDSU. There are still road games with Michigan, Purdue, Northwestern and MSU.

Now, I think that it may be possible for the team to win up to 2 of the Big Ten games and possibly up to two of the OOC games. That is: IF the team takes all of these teams seriously, the offensive line makes some improvements and the Coaching Staff flat out wins the hearts, minds, souls and committment from the players in this program. Every win will help in that regard. Every loss will hurt the possibility of that happening.

But I AM ultimately concerned with the direction that badger joel macturi has the Football Program, the Men's Hoops Program and the Men's Hockey Programs headed. Unless the Football Program starts averaging MORE than 2 Big Ten wins a season, this football program is in SERIOUS trouble. So far, Tubby really hasn't done all that much more than Monson did...only Monson had all that NCAA mess from the haskins era to deal with. And, it would appear that Lucia has just plain lost it. The past four to six years of badger joel macturi running the Men's Revenue Sports Programs has been hell.

Make all the snide little comments you want to make ole. The record for the past 4 years IS what the record for the past 4 years IS. badger joel macturi is running the revenue sports into the ground.

Will the Football Program hit it's average for the past 4 seasons in 2011 and win 2 Big Ten games this year? I certainly do hope they can. But, that puts badger joel macturi's record as the athletic director running the football program down mighty close to the bottom of all Big Ten athletic directors.

It is just plain crazy that bjm still is employed at the Unviersity of Minnesota.

We all agree, really no need to argue this point.

I guess I must've been hallucinating when I witnessed Minnesota defeat Iowa in football last November.

How correct you are dopodoll about that trophy game last game...

of the 2010 season. Under that brew-clown that never would have been possible.

So, how many Big Ten games will our Gopher Football Team win this season? Is the nightmare finally over?

This badger joel macturi really has been something, hasn't he dopodoll? He has put his personal badger joel touch on our Men's revenue sports programs. Throw him under the bus now...right dopodoll?

wren has never let facts get in the way of his postings. Now that the Gophers struggled in their last game he is back with his same old babbling incessant ramblings. The truth of the matter is that he is probably happier now since this is the only thing he knows how to do. This gives his sad little life meaning by tearing down people who actually are trying to do something positive.

wait!what?

(2) Marqueis Gray breaks the plane of the end zone with the ball and even though his body is in mid air outside the field of play, the ball still breaks the plane of the pylon. The TD is called back, and the result is no points.

he stepped out of bounds before he ever got airborn. will assume your *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#ty cell phone viewing covered this up.

Lincoln Financial Field,

1. I have the game on DVR and I am rewatching it as time permits. I am still in the 1st quarter. What I do remember was incessant and time consuming booth reviews of plays in the 1st half. Geerlings and his (Ziggy's) staff were anal retentive about booth reviews in the 1st half, so why no booth review of the Royston interception, which was clearly clean? Inquiring minds would like to know.

2. Who do you work for, Jeff Lurie?

Worse than the 1997 loss to a 3-win Hawaii team? Worse than last year's loss to a 4-7 FCS team?

I think it is right in that range, probably worse than the loss to Hawaii. This NMSU is a worse football team than the NDSU team that we will be playing (IMO).
