The Gophers RPI is...

Is RPI a useful metric?
A team's own individual RPI is not very useful nor was it ever really designed to be, especially this early in the season.

It's practical use for the NCAA Cmte was as 1 metric (among many) to determine a teams W-L vs certain groups within the RPI. For example a team with a record of 5-3 vs the RPI Top 50 was more likely to get an NCAA berth than a team that was 1-7, if other metrics were generally close.

Evidently Pittsburgh doesn't help our RPI.
Our RPI is now a still respectable #13.

After getting beat at home by the Gophers, Michigan hold steady in the NET at 41.

After beating Michigan on the road, the Gophers DROP FOUR SPOTS to 59.

Screw the NET, go RPI😆

Think that was still out of date...up to 36 now!

MN is one of the few teams with two Quad 1 true road wins...also FIVE wins away from home already. This team is in a great position to finish with .500 or above in road/neutral games, which would put us in great position come Selection Sunday.

Playing weak teams and winning will lower your RPI.

RPI is now: 15

NET is a solid: 38
